Old Europe Stoneware was one of the very first stands open at The Markets. When the original owner passed away, her friend and Markets merchant, Linda Baxter wanted her stand to carry on. Linda has been operating Old Europe Stoneware since 2017.
Old Europe Stoneware features beautiful pottery pieces crafted from the clay found in the Silver Banks of Poland. This selection of Polish dishware is all lead-free and is microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and oven safe. These items are heated to 2800° F, making them less chip resistant than traditional pottery. The beautiful hand-painted designs come in a variety of stunning styles and colors. Old Europe Stoneware does take special orders for items in specific patterns.
The stand also sells unique purses that are weaved from the tall grasses that grow along the Mekong River Delta of Cambodia, as well as Cambodian handbags made from recycled fish netting, and unique ceramic ornaments from Uzbekistan.
