Anna King, owner of Trailside Bulk Foods, opened her second stand at The Markets, a local creamery and ice cream stand, in September 2018. Talk about farm-fresh dairy — Anna acquires her milk and ice cream from her father’s dairy business in Delaware.
Although chocolate and vanilla are visitors’ most popular flavors, Trailside Creamery keeps up a constant rotation of soft-serve ice cream flavors, including sugar-free selections. In the summer months, they can sell up to 16 three-gallon tubs each week.

They sell hand-scooped ice cream in homemade waffles cones, sundaes, banana splits, root beer floats, and milkshakes. And a new addition to the stand is soft-serve ice cream which is now served daily!
Other local dairy products include organic raw milk, organic, low-fat milk, and half gallons of goat’s milk. They also carry sugar-free chocolate goat’s milk in pints! And, because you can’t live on ice cream alone, the stand also sells cinnamon roasted nuts and popcorn treats.
