The Impact of COVID-19 On The Markets
Due to the quick spread of COVID-19 and the increasingly-strict guidelines from our Governor, we will be postponing our Spring Auction and Easter events (Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny). The Spring Auction has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 9th and we will release updated event details here when we have a new date for our April events.
We recognize that not everyone will be happy with this decision. We know that many people come from states around to attend our auction each year. However, at this time, we feel we must do what is right to keep our community safe. We hope to reschedule at a later date when everyone can attend.
The Markets will still be open Thursday – Saturday for essential groceries. We urge our community to stay home as much as possible and only come out to pick up groceries or take-out. We have stepped up our cleaning and sanitizing practices to ensure that we’re doing our best for our customers and personnel.
We understand that the past few days have been difficult for everyone, including our merchants, who rely on their small businesses at The Markets to support their families. We urge everyone to show kindness and compassion during these difficult times.
