Stoneware
-
Almost
200
years
ago
in a
small
town
known
today
as
Boleslawiec,
Poland
farmers
began
decorating
stoneware
that
was
handcrafted
from
clay
found
in
the
local
river
banks.
Today,
skilled
artisans
continue
to
individually
decorate
each
piece
of
stoneware.
They
now
use
rubber
stamps
and
hand
paint
the
designs.
The
stoneware
is
durable
and
will
maintain
its
beauty
&
coloring.
Polish
pottery
is
lead-free
and
is
also
oven,
dishwasher
&
microwave
safe.
However,
it
can’t
take
rapid
temperature
changes.
Heat
or
cool
slowly
to
avoid
cracking
or
breaking.
Its
beauty,
usability
and
durability
make
this
pottery
a
favorite.
